The Forum will explore the trends that will re-shape people’s lives in the decades to come. In addition to exploring and measuring future well-being, the sessions will cover three major trends – the digital transformation, the changing role of governance, and the emergence of the private sector as an important actor for ensuring sustainable and inclusive well-being. The Conference represents a relevant opportunity for MAKSWELL project to reach a targeted audience and show current and future activities.

In the session on “Equity and well-being”, the researcher Alessandra Tinto from Istat will give a presentation on the first research results of WP1 concerning the stocktaking of well-being and sustainability indicators.

On 19-21 September the 16th edition of the IAOS Conference with the title “Better statistics for better lives” took place at the OECD Headquarters in Paris, France, jointly organised by the International Association for Official Statistics (IAOS) and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
